His Love

HIS LOVE RECEIVED There is a sweet satisfying companionship with the Lord that every believer needs every day of our lives. The scripture reveals that the secret of possessing this precious companionship is in receiving God’s love and returning His love. It is our desire to be connected to Him through a personal loving relationship. When received, His love becomes a channel for many blessings and is the basis of the fruit of the Holy Spirit, which is joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23) In the River Church we work towards letting go of the past and moving forward into His love, peace, and freedom. HIS LOVE EXTENDED As we are open to and filling ourselves with the love of God, we naturally spill over onto those around us. We desire to be vessels for God to share His unconditional love with all people. We make every effort to be lovers of people just as God is a lover of us. It is our desire that all should feel and know the pure, beautiful, unmerited love of their Creator. Romans 8:37-39 “...neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord?”
